STYLISH CATERERS SERVING GUEST, AT MARGARET TROUPE'S: HARLEM ARTS SALON: LITERARY & VISUAL ARTS PROJECT'S AFTERNOON OF POETRY, FOOD, ART AND CULTURAL CONNOISSEURS,

CATERERS SERVING ART THERAPIST FOR SINGLE-TEEN-MOTHERS, MS. JADE.

ALL OF THE PLATTERS THAT THE FOOD WAS SO BEAUTIFULLY SERVERED ON, WAS CREATED BY ARTIST THAT ARE IN THE ART COLLECTION OF ARTIST QUINCY AND MARGARET TROUPE... NOW I ASK YOU.., IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO SERVE BEANS & RICE IN THE 21st CENTURY?

CULTURAL ACTIVIST, WHO IS A GREAT INSPIRATION TO ME FROM THE CULTURAL REVOLUTION OF THE 60's & 70's AMINA BARAKA, WRITER/DRUMVOICE EDITOR EUGENE B. REDMOND AND "AMAZIN BLAZIN" AMIRI BARAKA WHO WILL BE THE FEATURED POET PERFORMING WITH MUSICIAN RENE MCCLEAN FOR THE EXHIBIT (RE)POSSESSED AT THE KING ARTS COMPLEX IN COLUMBUS OHIO DEC 6, 2008.

WHILE THE GROUP WAS BEING PHOTOGRAPHED, MARGARET TROUPE MADE THE REMARK, THAT SOMEONE SHOULD BE PHOTOGRAPHING THE PHOTOGRAPHERS... NICE IDEA MARGRET.

THIS WAS A WONDERFUL CULTURAL AFTERNOON. I WAS ABLE TO NETWORK WITH AMIRI BARAKA ABOUT HIS PERFORMANCE AT THE (RE)POSSESSED EXHIBIT IN COLUMBUS OHIO. THIS WAS A GREAT EVENING FOR LEARNING & NETWORKING.
